Shell World Museum, Thai

Located at Jungceylon, this museum contains everything about mussels and shellfish species. It could be said that this is the most complete museum shells ever. This is because it is a collection of 1,382 families shells imported from at least 135 countries.

Founded by Somwang Patamakanthin, this museum is indeed a passion during his lifetime. He was busy collecting shells and cooperate with the Marine Workers for collecting it from year to year. Interestingly, he is an amateur malacologist coming from Thailand.
